Good day everyone~ I am thankful the hurricane is gone and all is well; as far as I know. We didn't lose our power and we had no flooding in our basement. Of course we will have to check out the property in the morning but I think everything is intact. Thank you to those of you who prayed for our safety.
It made all the difference, I know!
Today for Blue Monday I have my bell collection to share with you.
As you can see, I have nine bells in all. Each one was a gift. This bell from Hawaii was given to me by my Uncle Doug who visited that beautiful place many years ago. He also gave me the Currier and Ives light blue bell. Isn't that a pretty shade of blue?It is the only bell that has pictures all around it. I love it!The next bell is this cobalt blue bell, a Christmas bell given to me by my hubby. It is from Avon and has a snowflake handle.Next to the Hawaii bell, is another Christmas bell with a wreath handle; also a gift from my hubby. There is some blue in it, it's just hard to see. The little poinsettia bell with the heart handle was also a gift from Hubby. This cobalt blue bell was a gift from my oldest son Jeff who got it for me when he went on a youth exchange with our church to Vancouver, BC. He was 15 at the time; hard to believe that was almost twenty years ago! Then there is the crystal bell which was a gift from my SIL to my hubby and me on our twenty-fifth Anniversary.
The white bell with the flowers and blue lake on it, was a gift from the young man who came from Vancouver, BC to stay at our home with his youth group. Then the last little bell "For My Love" was also a gift from my hubby. Each of my bells holds sentimental value and I love each one!I hope you enjoyed seeing my little collection and thank you for visiting me on this Blue Monday. Please visit Sally and the other blue participants at http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ or click on the Blue Monday button on my sidebar.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
Sharing from my heart~ Sandi
I love all of your bells. You have a nice collection of them and they are all really pretty. I like the one with the butterfly best.

Good morning Sandi, your bell collection is so pretty. the most special thing is who gave them to you and that makes them so much more of a treasure. I have a bell from my son when he was a little guy and it means everything to me. Love your sweet post today.

ReplyDeleteDing-Dong or is it tinkle-tinkle...nice collection. Glad all is well after the storm. And just read about your visitor on your other blog, I think she also visited Job during his low moment. Smile and go forth a conqueror! ;-)

Your bells are beautiful Thanks for letting us see them. I hope you will join me at diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com for Crock Pot Wednesday. Mr. Linky will be up on Tuesday for your link. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteSandi, what lovely bells! I've started a collection for my youngest grandgirl...she just loves them! The only problem is that they all seem to be missing the ringer! I think those little fingers were just too curious, and had to have an up close look! Have a wonderful week! Mary
